We're currently onboarding freelance DevOps Engineer, you’ll be a cornerstone of our product division, designing and implementing robust development environments that empower our freelance teams to deliver exceptional projects. This is a high-visibility role where your expertise in cloud services and CI/CD pipelines will directly influence our success. In this role, you may be asked to:

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS to support multiple development projects.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate building, testing, and deployment processes.

Create standardized, reproducible development environments (dev, staging, production) using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Ensure secure access controls and best practices for freelancer onboarding, leveraging AWS IAM and temporary credentials.

Collaborate with freelance developers to streamline onboarding and provide clear documentation for environment setup.

Monitor and optimize AWS costs, implementing tools like AWS Cost Explorer and budget alerts.

Set up monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., AWS CloudWatch) to ensure system reliability and performance.

Contribute to a culture of innovation, documenting processes and sharing knowledge to support a growing team.

You're a great if you're:

Experience: 3-5 years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudFormation) and cost optimization strategies.

CI/CD Mastery: Proven experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) for automating workflows.

IaC Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar for reproducible infrastructure.

Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.

Security Mindset: Understanding of AWS IAM, VPC configurations, and secure pipeline practices.

Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks.

Startup Energy: Thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and enjoys building from scratch in a collaborative, fast-moving team.

Bonus: Experience with GitHub Codespaces, AWS SSO, or monitoring tools like ELK stack or CloudTrail.

This is a freelance, hourly role. Work will be offered on a per-project basis, depending on client needs. We'll keep your name at the top of our list for product projects aligned with your expertise.

This role is fully remote within the United States and requires reliable computer and internet access.
​
If you're a strong fit and want to grow with us, you'll be considered for a full-time salaried position in September 2026.
Compensation:

Hourly / Project-Based: Rate determined by experience and project scope.
