As Legal Counsel at The Writer’s House Collective, you’ll advise on contracts, intellectual property, and risk mitigation across client engagements and internal operations. You’ll help us move fast without missing critical legal details.

This role will initially be plug-in or part-time, with the potential to expand as we scale. You’ll work closely with the Founder and Finance Lead to ensure our client relationships, creative assets, and business decisions are legally sound. Key Responsibilities
1 / Draft and Review Client Contracts
Ensure all client-facing agreements are clear, enforceable, and aligned with our business structure and services.
2 / Oversee IP and Content Ownership Structures
Advise on internal and client IP usage, licensing, and protection—especially across creative and technical deliverables.
3 / Support Risk Management and Compliance
Flag potential liabilities, ensure operational compliance, and advise on how to scale safely across jurisdictions and service lines.
