You’re not just here to manage people—you’re here to build the kind of environment they want to grow in. As the People Ops / HR Manager at The Writer’s House Collective, you’ll be responsible for shaping the systems, culture, and structures that allow our team to operate at its highest potential.

This role will evolve as we grow. In the early phase, you’ll focus on building foundational systems—onboarding, performance frameworks, and culture rituals that reflect our values. As we scale, you’ll take on hiring strategy, internal policy design, and leadership support. If you believe HR should be strategic, proactive, and deeply human—you’re in the right place.

Key Responsibilities

1 / Build Onboarding & Culture Infrastructure

Design and implement the onboarding process, team rituals, and cultural systems that support clarity, belonging, and alignment.

2 / Design Performance & Growth Frameworks

Work with Leads to create role clarity, feedback systems, and growth plans that set clear expectations and support professional development.

3 / Support Hiring & Talent Development Strategy

Partner with leadership to shape hiring needs, interview processes, and talent nurturing as we grow.
